It can be exciting and intimidating to personalize the worship for your Sacrament of Holy Matrimony. There are some brief resources below, but for further coordination and information about booking musicians, what to expect in terms of cost, and other planning concerns, please contact the Parish office. We have several, wonderful, professional musicians in our parish we can coordinate for your wedding. But you are also welcome to use your own contractor.

Scroll through the following topics to start considering how you'd like to design your Wedding Music.

Remember any title from the "Breaking Bread" hymnal we worship with, is acceptable at your Wedding.

Should I Hire My Musicians?

Probably, yes. The different rites of worship across many Christian faiths and Catholicism in particular are all unique and may be executed to greater degree of success by someone with training and experience.

Friends and relatives may offer to perform your wedding music as a gift and that can be lovely..... but often this is a more daunting task than amateurs and couples realize. Non-professional musicians who want to gift your wedding music, even if they play and sing beautifully may fare better as part of your ceremony if you ALSO hire a professional accompanist and arrange for rehearsals in advance of the ceremony.

...That said...all musicians, professional or not, are welcome to perform your wedding here as you wish. We only ask that you communicate and plan with our musical staff to make any necessary collaboration or rehearsal beautiful and effective.

Do I Have to Hire Musicians From St. Francis, St. Patrick, or St. John?

No! If you find a musician you love and trust, they are welcome to perform here! They simply have to contact our Parish office at least 2 weeks before the wedding to coordinate their use of our facilities.
